Firefighters battled a blaze that completely destroyed the historic structure, a beloved piece of our community/town/city for over a hundred decades. The fire, which erupted shortly after sunset, caused significant damage to the roof of the building. Fortunately/Sadly/Unfortunately, no injuries/casualties/fatalities have been reported at this time.
